Our Story
Phap Hoa Monastery was founded by Venerable Nun Minh An in 2013 at 3730 Boundary Road, Burnaby. Established with the aspiration to create a spiritual sanctuary for Buddhist practice, the monastery became a place of refuge for the Vietnamese Buddhist community and those seeking peace and guidance.
In 2023, in order to expand and further develop its religious and community activities, Phap Hoa Monastery relocated to 18847 80 Avenue, Surrey. This new location allows the monastery to better serve its growing community and to continue its mission of spiritual cultivation and compassionate service.
